The project was a no-brainer. A limited-edition blend from the industry’s hottest manufacturer? We dove right in, and so did you! All 10,000 cigars sold out in record time. After fielding numerous customer requests, we decided we had to bring this one back. It wasn’t easy resurrecting this one though. This gem is a Nicaraguan puro, rolled entirely with Nicaraguan leaf from the tobacco farms of A.J. Fernandez. The cigar is covered in a limited medio tiempo wrapper. This type of leaf grows high atop the tobacco plant—but it doesn’t always sprout—making it a special tobacco prized for its rarity and intense smoking characteristics. But producing and fermenting these tobaccos take time, so we couldn’t just turn around and re-produce this classic. But after smoking a few of the new ones, the wait was worth it.
